Last updated: March 2, 2026
By accessing or using the Defense Orientation Conference Association (DOCA) website and member portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the platform.
DOCA membership is open to civilian leaders who demonstrate interest in defense and national security education. Membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or register for conferences.
The member directory is a private resource available only to active DOCA members. You agree not to use directory information for commercial solicitation, mass communications, or any purpose unrelated to DOCA activities. Sharing directory data with non-members or third parties is strictly prohibited.
You agree not to:
All content on the DOCA platform, including text, graphics, logos, documents, and software, is the property of DOCA or its content providers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Members may access and download documents from the member portal for personal, non-commercial use related to DOCA activities. Reproduction or distribution of DOCA materials without prior written consent is prohibited.
Given DOCA's mission in defense education, members have a heightened responsibility regarding security. Any information shared during conferences, briefings, or through the platform that is designated as sensitive or restricted must be handled in accordance with applicable security protocols. Violations may result in immediate membership termination and referral to appropriate authorities.
DOCA may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, failure to pay dues, conduct unbecoming of a DOCA member, or actions that compromise the security or reputation of the organization. Upon termination, your right to access the member portal and associated services ceases immediately.
DOCA provides the platform on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the platform. DOCA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in DOCA events.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the District of Columbia.
DOCA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to members via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
